Your Charter Vessel
Your charter boat is a Sea Fox Commander 226 center console. This is the "classic" lowcountry boat. A large T-top provides ample shade while allowing the sun through at the bow. Comfortable cushioned seats throughout are great for lounging and relaxing. Your music can be played through the bluetooth stereo system while you enjoy cruising the waterways. A ladder on the stern aids in getting in and out of the water. A Yamaha 200 four stroke engine provides more than adequate power for making way during your charter. What You Will Do And See
Charleston Harbor is the confluence of the Ashley, Cooper, and Wando rivers. The city juts out into the harbor with a photographic skyline dominated by church steeples and antebellum homes along the battery. The history of Charleston is embedded in the culture. We can see several forts and other historical sites on many charters. The marine wildlife is plentiful. It is unusual to not see dolphin in the harbor. Many species of birds and other aquatic animals call the tidal water their home. The barrier islands line the coast and are a great place to have a nature walk looking for shells and shark's teeth. Shem Creek is home to our commercial shrimping and fishing fleet as well as several restaurants for drinks, lunch or dinner. If you have a special request to see a specific site or to accomplish a particular activity please discuss this with the crew.
